The Power of Ten

Life is unique because of its beauty, sometimes we miss everyday natural beauty that are part of it because we are used to doing things in a routine. After watching this video, I can say that my thinking has change, the way I see and observe earth's unique aspects. I always knew that we were all connected somehow, but I didn't know how close we are until I saw this clip. I learned that we can be as separate or as close to someone or something as we may desire, the image of the planets and galaxies blew me away, it showed me how nonsenses we can be about our surroundings. It also teach me that we need to protect our planet, because as small as it may be seem from a space view, it means everything to us, it sustains us in every aspects. The movie also emphasized how powerless we are from the space view, but how powerful we are all together, we are all connected somehow. After watching this clip, some other question came to my mind like :

Can we really change the way people see things?

Can it be possible that this perfect planet was made by it self or by what others
called evolution?

How long would we be able to sustain it?

How can we all make a change?

Family Motivation
One of the key components in motivation is “Say yes to change” (George and Sedena Cappannelli). It’s also the road map in which it could drive an individual to act and perform a certain way. Motivation can come from a variety of sources. For instance, one of the strongest motivator we encounter is within our own family household. Family motivation can be an essential source for an individual to succeed in life.
Have you ever wondered what motivates different people? Can it be possible that some people are motivated by sex, violence, drugs, money, or even so, family circumstances? For example, family is like a building block for a child’s success. It helps sustain love and happiness. It could also embrace a positive state of mind and encourage success. Within family household’s, parents could be the number one motivator by providing a range of encouragement no matter the obstacle the family faces. Struggles should not only make parents strive for success but also gear that motivation towards their family. Such as, the struggle parents endure can be detrimental towards a child’s accomplishment. However this doesn’t mean that parents should only be the motivator within a family, but children’s should also reinforce inspiration for the family.
Since the fetus’ heart starts beating in the stomach of a woman, the mother and father face a new challenge. That challenge is centered in giving the necessary attention to that new life. Every kid is like a sponge, they absorb every single detail and emotion that they see, feel
and hear from others. The parent’s role in supporting their children is essential, Marc Bornstein, in Handbook of Parenting noted that, “Mothers of first-borns engage with, respond to, stimulate, talk to, and express positive affection for their babies more than mothers of later-born, even when there are no differences in first-and later-born behavior”. That’s why it is important to communicate with your child from since they are inside the belly, because that’s when the first interactions between parent and child become significant. This communication and support can sometimes be affected by monetary stability, emotional stability, and relation stability between parents. A study stated that divorce has an emotional and physical affect on their children; some physicians asserted that young people are disturbed even many years after a divorce, (Laumann-Billings, Lisa, and Robert E. Emery. "Distress among young adults from divorced families." Journal of Family Psychology 14.4 (2000): 671-687. PsycARTICLES. EBSCO. Web. 1 Feb. 2010).
I believe that every parent should try their best to hold on to their vote in staying together, because if they do so, their children will develop better in every aspect of their life. Even when they are struggling to support their family monetary, they should always focus their attention in letting the child know that it is necessary in life to expand your communication and relationship abilities. Also keeping a moderate balance in every of these aspects is crucial, if a parent only lives to work, but does not work to live, they will be setting the wrong representation to their family. That’s why parents should set the example first, because that way the child can captivate those important aspects and therefore influence the family too.
Children may also reinforce inspiration within the family. When a child is praised for their good judgment, their education, and even their sportsmanship; a parent fills themselves with pride, joy, and motivation. Unfortunately, sometimes the parents cannot do much for themselves. For example, immigrant parents don’t have the language or residential status to become successful but their child’s success motivates them to life. A recent study about immigrant mothers shows that, though they lack an extensive academic background, which places their children at risk for low education, their positive attitude manifested in daily pro-educational behaviors overcomes their low education level because they both motivate their children to pursue academic success and participate in their children’s learning, (Early Childhood Education Journal; Apr2007, Vol. 34 Issue 5, p351-356, 6p, 3 charts, 2 graphs). The motivation comes from the child’s strength. When a parent sees these factors, they elevate themselves to becoming a greater parent for their child.
In reality motivation is a cycle for both the parents and their children. When a child reaches a goal they not only motivate themselves but they motivate their parents. They do so socially, in school, and in sports. With that said a parent’s motivation is definitely a child’s success. Motivation is the power and ability to succeed. It helps us take the first step to action and can help us stay positive when our chips are down. When it comes to parenting, the basics of succeeding are no different than those of success in the business world, you just have to accept and flow with the emotional pull that comes from a more personal set of goals.

The most wounderful motivation are the smiling faces of my children. Their smiling faces always enlighten my days and encourange me to do my best for them. They are my angels because they have the gift of illuminating my dark days and give me the strenght to overcome any obstacle.
